Bryn Mawr Terrace Named One of Best Nursing Homes by U.S. News & World Report

As a non-profit organization, Bryn Mawr Terrace has an enduring commitment to older adults that stems from our philanthropic mission. We focus the entirety of our resources on the care and comfort of our residents. We do this because we feel it is the best way to provide those in our care with the quality of care they need and deserve . . . and because we feel it’s the right way to do things.

It is with great pleasure that we share the news that “U.S. News & World Report” has named Bryn Mawr Terrace one of the best nursing homes in the country.

The results of this report were based on ratings in health inspectionsnurse staffing and measures of medical quality of care.

  • Health Inspections encompass how well Bryn Mawr Terrace met health and safety standards for food preparation and other nursing home activities in the latest three state inspections. Such inspections are conducted at least every 15 months.

  • Nurse Staffing includes the average number of hours per day of care received per resident from nurses at all levels.

  • Quality Measures looks at the percentage of residents who received recommended care, such as flu vaccinations, as well as the percentages of residents who had pain, bedsores, urinary tract infections and other care-related problems.

Based on the ratings in every area listed above, Bryn Mawr Terrace earned five stars – the highest score possible.
